HR Generalist (Temp-to-Hire)

We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused HR Generalist to support programs that serve children, families, and school-based environments.

This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations in a collaborative, mission-driven, and non-corporate setting.

What You'll Do

This is a true generalist role with a 50/50 split:

?? Recruiting, Onboarding & HR Operations

• Lead full-cycle recruiting (a top priority)
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire experience
• Manage HR administrative processes and systems
• Partner with hiring managers across multiple locations

?? Employee Relations

• Support employee questions and workplace concerns
• Partner with leadership to resolve HR matters
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and people-first culture

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of recruiting experience
• Strong organization and multitasking skills
• Tech-savvy (experience with HRIS systems preferred)
• Ability to balance administrative and employee-facing work
• Strong knowledge of California employment law
• Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred/a plus)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel
• Comfortable working in environments connected to schools and youth programs
• Friendly, approachable, and easygoing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptable and collaborative
